Afterschool & Beyond is a statewide conference for the staff of programs and organizations serving youth during out-of-school time. This conferences is open to all school-based and community-based programs, that cover youth in elementary through high school during the school year and/or summer. Topics during this year’s conference will include: Youth Leadership, Family Engagement, Trauma Informed Strategies, Volunteer Managements, Career Readiness, STEM, Social Emotional Learning and much more!

STEM Summit 2.0 included for FREE: This half day ‘un-conference" will allow for informal and formal teachers, program facilitators, business leaders and academics to come together to share knowledge, expertise and visions for providing and growing STEM opportunities and exposure for school-aged youth in Montana. This portion will take place on the morning of Thursday, August 8th.
Particularly interested in STEM/Science Offerings?: Our conference has been scheduled to align with the Montana Science Institute being held August 6th & 7th in the same location. A unique opportunity to easily take in two exciting and engaging conferences the same week!

This conference meets the professional development requirements for 21st CCLC grantees and will coincide with the required grant meeting to be held the afternoon of Wednesday, August 7th.
OPI staff will also be on site for program support.
